Online Reading, Phonics and Spelling Instruction for Adults
Adults Work Independently at a Computer
Tutors Learn to Teach by Accessing Our Online Lessons

The We All Can Read Online Program offers numerous
advantages to organizations offering adult literacy instruction.

Cost effective. Individual students can subscribe to our online program for just $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year.
Organizations can purchase a computer license for one computer/multiple users for just $99.99 per year. Other licenses are also available. See our subscription page for more information.

Our online license provides access to a complete literacy program - no additional purchase of any kind is necessary. Our online license includes the following elements.
1. 644 lessons that combine audio, video, and text - all lessons are printable!
2. All 141 lessons from our Supplemental Fluency Reader
- all lessons are printable!
3. Our 156 page Teacher's Guide
4. Over 400 consumable worksheets
5. Forty plus hours of video content
6. More than 115 hours of audio content

Our first 28 online phonics lessons are free and may be accessed from our Online Program page.

Our online program makes it possible for students to work independently. Or in the context of a tutoring program, students can work independently between regularly scheduled instructional sessions. Also many adult literacy programs struggle with the issue of having more students than available tutors. Our online program can be used in this instance where there is a shortage of tutors. The sponsoring organization can make the online program available to students on the wait list as at least a stop-gap measure to get those students immediately involved in learning to read until a tutor becomes available. We also publish a series of free training tutorials on our website for tutors to access to learn how to teach our program.

We don't charge for tutors to access our online program!
We determine the license based on the number of students that access the program - tutors share a license with a student. So if you have twenty tutors paired with twenty students, an organization would need only purchase a twenty-seat license. The tutor and the student would share the same user name and password to login to our program.

Our online program makes it possible for an adult literacy program to offer distance learning.
Tutors and students can each be seated at a computer in their respective homes and work together on a particular lesson. Individuals unable to drive, can serve as tutors from their homes. Individuals in retirement communities who would like to tutor but are unable to drive can tutor from any computer connected to the Internet! Students who are transportation-challenged can access our online program from any Internet-connected computer whether at a library, learning center, friend's home, or their own home. Our online program presents a whole new set of possibilities for volunteer literacy programs.

Phonics is a skill and requires a great deal of practice to master. Our online program makes it possible for students to work as long as is necessary in any given lesson to gain mastery before proceeding to more advanced lessons. Many adult literacy classes are crowded; sometimes classes are not even available. Students find it difficult and/or expensive to receive the one-to-one, intensive instruction necessary to gain mastery. Our online program solves this dilemma by making it possible for an individual to learn and practice reading and spelling skills with our online program. Subscribing to our online program is like hiring a full-time reading specialist available to work with an individual at school, work or at home twenty-four hours a day/seven days a week. Our online reading and phonics program really does work by providing a critical foundation in phonics for individuals who did not receive that foundation in their earlier years of schooling.

See Georgia Army National Guard Literacy Training Project Video made at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
The We All Can Read program began as an adult literacy program; we have a good video introduction to our program made by the Georgia Army National Guard. Sometimes adult students think phonics is a subject suitable only for children; the video made by the Georgia Army National Guard is an excellent way to introduce the program to adult students because they see that the program is used successfully with soldiers.

Gerald LeBlanc was convinced he would never be able to learn to read; after nine weeks of instruction at Griffin Technical Institute, he was chosen as a star student because of the dramatic progress he made.
"The program they have is We All Can Read, and it teaches you the phonics, the sounds of your letters.
And without knowing the sounds of your letters, you really can't read. And I'm reading,
and I'm also spelling words I never thought I could ever spell."

Author of We All Can Read discusses value of program to adults.
"The good news is anyone, virtually anyone, can become a successful reader regardless of that person's age if that person receives instruction in systematic phonics. And that is what this program is designed to do. I am going to provide you in a very structured, sequential way with all of the information you are going to need to be able to look at a word, sound that word out, and accurately read the word. Not only that but you will also gain the skills necessary to be able to spell words with a high degree of accuracy. And that is what systematic phonics is designed to do."
